Yes we did, very much, thankyou.
My group of 26 all stayed there and all agreed it was the best place with the pool.
My only gripe would be that we were on the 3rd level and had to climb all the stairs. (My partner has hip problems) and struggled badly.

Yes we did, although the room that we were first assigned we were not happy with, it was on the ground floor near the entrance to the carpark and was very noisy and also quite run down and tired looking. I mentioned something after 2 nights and we were moved to a much much nicer room in the 3rd floor overlooking the pool, it was nice and quiet and had recently had a freshen up, it felt a lot more like we were on holidays once we were there.

The accommodation was fabulous. Concern was expressed that we may find the stairs to the third floor apartment an issue. However there were only two flights of stairs ant he apartment was up in the canopy of the glorious paperbark melaleuca trees.
Only fault was that the apartment didn't have a coffee plunger and no BBQ. Otherwise it was wonderful

The apartments are of an exceptional quality. The location and amenities are fantastic. Although our apartment was on the third floor (and there are no lifts in the complex), it was very spacious and clean, with fantastic views of the entire complex. Almost all of the restaurants & cafes within Palm Cove have great food & wonderful service, with the exception of the Il Forno Italian Restaurant, where the pizza was over-priced & tasted awful. In my opinion, the best value for money restaurant & cafes are Apres & Chill.

My family and I absolutely loved staying in the Amphora apartment. It was clean and spacious. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The king bed was more comfortable than the one at home. The kids especially loved the pool and being able to go for a swim at night. The fans and balconies were great. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Loved the stay,the room was very good but would prefer the toilet separate to the bathroom. We did not realize that we had to climb three flights of stairs with our suitcases,so next time we would ask for a room on the ground floor. The other possibility would be to stay in a complex with a lift. However we did love the view from our window right onto the beach. We also liked the proximity to the chapel for the wedding.

Arriving at the Amphora was when our holiday started. We loved the resort, the room was clean and the kingbed was very comfortable.The balcony was big with a lovely view to the pool. We would definitely come again.
The only thing we did not like,was the expensive charge to use wifi. In comparison, most backpackers offer wifi for free.

The Amphora St Private Apartments are ideal for a family holiday with a prime location on the beachfront in Palm Cove, fantastic lagoon pool and self-catering facilities there is not much more you could need.

Absolutely loved these apartments. Our two bedroom dual key apartment was extremely large and comfortable. We loved the spa bath and separate balconies overlooking the beautiful tropical, well maintained gardens and the massive pool. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartments were lovely and quiet. We loved having a washing machine and airing racks for our seven day stay. We were also grateful for the starter packs of dishwasher detergent, and the toiletry packs.
The location was amazing, being on the beachfront esplanade, with excellent restaurants a short walking distance away. The free bbqs opposite were a fun place to enjoy a leisurely BBQ and meet a few locals.
The beach was extremely beautiful to explore on our early morning walks.
We loved staying here so much for our seven day holiday, that it was very hard to leave. And it was so easy to access The Daintree etc from this location.
Absolutely fabulous. Amazing pool! And so gorgeous at night when it is lit! Thank you !

Loved staying at the Amphora. What a great location, facing the palm-fringed beach of Palm Cove & walking distance to many cafes & bars. The lagoon pool & spa (plus a kiddies pool) was delightful. Waking up to that view every morning & watching the sunset reflect off the ocean was magic indeed!

It was fantastic! The apartment was very spacious, well-fitted out and had a very generous supply of towels. The pool and surrounds were beautiful and well maintained. The only downfalls were a leaking fridge (puddle every day) and no instructions for the dishwasher.

We just finished a fantastic holiday at Amphora. The apartment was better than the photos. Huge for a family of 5. My 3 kids loved the resort and the pool and our main bed was extremely comfortable. Staff went out of their way to help us.

We did enjoy our stay in the apartment - it was very spacious, very well stocked up with all the necessary amenities (towels were plenty as well as toilet paper, soap and kitchen utensils) and we loved the privacy which the dual key set-up provided. The balcony was amazing, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen and the bathrooms very clean and in good condition. The pool and the garden of the complex were absolutely amazing (providing pool towels was an extra bonus)! My only little issue was that the window on the main bedroom did not have a mesh screen and was not cleaned from the outside in a long time, so when you open it you were confronted with spider webs and spiders. This prevented us from sleeping on open window as we were afraid that spiders and other insects may crawl into the bedroom. But apart from that everything was perfect and we would definitely consider this apartments again should we be lucky to return to Palm Cove.

The grounds are immaculately kept and the pool is wonderful.
The Apartments provided everything we needed for our 4 day stay and we would return in a heartbeat.
The restaurant Vivo at the front of the property on the Palm Beach Esplanade is the BEST food,coffee & service in Palm Cove.

Yes we did. one gripe we were looking forward to a bath but there was no plug. Very disappointed especially when we returned from Kuranda with sore muscles from lots of walking. Tried to buy one that fitted. no luck. No plug for kitchen sink. Also wasn't able to connect to someone who could help. The apartment was very well located and appointed. Comfortable beds, living areas and fabulous views. Our unit was at ground level so we had a lovely private patio the faced the beach - it was wonderful to get up in the morning and have a cup of tea while watching the waves and listening to the sounds of the water and the breeze in the palm trees. We ate dinner out on the patio a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking was convenient, the pool and spa were great and I enjoyed a couple of lazy afternoons by the pool. Vivo's restaurant was next door and we enjoyed some fabulous breakfasts and at least one gourmet dinner there. Highly recommended.

the check in was very easy and people running it very nice and helpful.
The apartment was great value for money and very neat tidy and clean with good kitchen set up and nice lounge, the facilities at the resort. well we wouldn't call it a resort at all. the pool was very nice and clean but there was no other facilities or if there were we did not find them and were not made aware of them. so no where for buffet breakfast gym or tennis table tennis etc or other activities we would normally associate with a resort. but as a base it was excellent and great location.

Fantastic place. Very nice and peaceful close to shops and esplanade for a nice walk. Pool was very nice and very big to relax in. Apartment was very comfy and Roomie and modern. Kichten didn't have much utensils like trays for oven and stuff. But otherwise very nice.

The pool was huge too - a good way to cool off.

We found the rates very affordable, would definitely stay again.

Only one very minor issue the steps up the apartments weren't swept/washed at all whilst we were there and didn't do much for first impressions.

We were a group of one set of grandparents with two families - 3 children 6,5 and 3. We occupied a 1 bedroom and 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. 6 adults and 3 children.

(a) general cleanliness of the kitchen utensils and kitchen when we arrived. Some items were quite dirty and needed to be re-washed; and
(b) the main fridge kept leaking each morning...

Yes we did thank you. The rooms were gorgeous and the complex was outstanding. The only thing we had issue with was the fold out bed that was supplied which was a camp style bed and didn't suit our needs. With such a high standard of accommodation it would have been nice to have something a bit more comfortable especially as it was quite costly per night. Aside from that it was a fabulous place.

We were dropped of by the arranged transport at the apartments reception and given a cold welcome and being told we should have checked in further up the road. After walking about 1/2 km with our luggage we were very annoyed. We were checked in and driven back to our hotel room which did not have an ocean view that we paid extra for. We were promptly moved and upgraded to an ocean view one bedroom apartment. We loved our stay here for four days with lovely view, comfortable bed and looked like bathroom was newly renovated. The only small complaint was that the king bed was just two king singles with a sheet keeping them together so there was a dip between the two beds and they sometimes split.

Lovely spacious apartment very suitable and comfortable for a family. Lovely pool for kids to play in.The big downside for us was that the "fully equipped kitchen" was not fully equipped. There was only one very small pot which wasn't large enough to make a sauce for my family and then I had to cook the pasta afterwards. It wasn't a big deal but it meant that we had to eat out a lot more than we had planned. Other than that our stay was nice.

Awesome accomm, very comfortable & beds excellent & pool amazing, grounds very clean & maintained. A couple of suggestions, an outdoor fan under the alfresco would have made it more comfortable, along with furniture to lie back & relax in. We had a fantastic time in Palm Cove and the apartment was perfect.

Ours - and others that we visited - were beautiful and well appointed units . I must commend a consideration shown . I arrived still suffering from debilitating injuries to both my feet and found the prospect of climbing two floors to our booked unit daunting in the extreme - if impossible . Could we wait a couple of hours until a ground floor unit became available after cleaning ? .This was no trouble with the abundance of excellent coffee shops in the area and , being able to walk on flat surfaces . I went on to enjoy our visit to Palm Cove .
A suggestion from this - in consideration that there are elderley and infirm amongst the guests .
Perhaps the availability of a Porter Service ( not necessarily in house but freelance " hulks " on call ). In Europe and Asia the porters are remunerated by the guests and a fix like that provided for me might not always be possible . Lifts would be even better .

We stayed for 8 nights in Amphora Apartments, the locations and facilities were excellent. We do however, have a few suggestions that would have made the stay a lot more enjoyable.
1. The Airport transfer was great, however it didnt drop our family at the location we were staying. We were dropped off at Boutique Collections, we did the paper work, and then had to get a lift to the accomodation. Having a 2 year old, this was very frustrating. On top of this, a piece of lugagge was lost in the change over of transfers.

A few extra items in the room would be great, such as: plugs for the sinks, foot towels in the bathroom, and the DVD player didnt work.
The lady at the Boutique Collection could not have been more helpful! She was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed the location at Amphora Street. We had a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the Beach. When the winds picked up in the afternoon we utilised the sheltered lagoon pool. We will go back.

it was great fantastic view. the stairs were a bit hard with me having rhumatoid arthritis but i used it as exercise. the tvs were hard to make work with 3 controls and not many instructions,and the place needs a few minor repairs, but it was still very nice thankyou.

Our apartment was fabulous with beautiful beachfront views - a great way to wake up in the morning. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed - great laundry facilities. Plenty of room for all the family. We were a bit disappointed that the key wasn't there when we arrived or our breakfast basket but both were quickly remedied with a phone call. Also they were very quick to come to adjust the airconditioning, and sent a car to pick up and store our luggage on our last day. We will definitely be back a wonderful stay!!

Yes, the environment was great. Nice pool and good grills around. The $10 Internet modem was always in a shortage, all 4 nights stayed were out of Internet. Please improve!

We really enjoyed our stay. If I'm ultra critical, the apt could of used a more a detailed clean (ceiling fans, matte in pics), but the one complaint that others acknowledged was the hardness of the beds. My Mum and husband were really uncomfortable. Having said all that, we still loved our visit, the location, the pool and apt itself and plan to return in the future to this same location. For the price, you can't beat it.

The resort was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. However the two things that could use some improvement are the rock-hard mattresses on the beds and the extremely flat/thin pillows. We lost some rest due to the sleeping conditions but made up for it in the lounge chairs by the pool.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. No issues there BUT lots of other issues.
1. our reception was poor. The apartment was not ready at the appropriate time and it was over an hour before we were able to have access. We had previously being asked by telephone to notify our intended time of arrival, which we did, so the staff must have known the time of our arrival.
2. the receptionist offered to care for our luggage while we went down the street to "have a cup of coffee". As it was we had enough time for a whole meal and a cup of coffee
3. The receptionist undertook to ring us when the apartment was cleaned and ready. She never did.
4. On our return to the reception office our luggage was left unattended behind an unlocked door readily accessible by the general public. The receptionist was down the street somewhere.
4. We walked on down the street to see if we could find the apartment and, in doing so, we passed the receptionist returning from somewhere eating an ice cream.
5. After ringing the office again the phone was answered by a different receptionist who undertook to drive down to meet us with our luggage. She did that and admitted us to the apartment.
6. The usual general information booklet(s) and pamphlets were not available at that time and we later discovered that they had been left outside the front door.
7. We found this whole procedure to be very sub-standard and demonstrated a lack of care in the reception process.
8. You need to do something about the name of the apartments because the taxi service doesn't know it by the name Amphora Apartments. I think they must know it by its name of Mantra. I don't see the point in having two names one of which seems to be used by the tourist industry and one of which seems to be used by some of the other services which we need. As it was, the taxi service denied the existence of any Amphora Apartments at that address and we missed a taxi that had been ordered an hour earlier. I would recommend eliminating the Mantra name from the apartments as nobody seems to use it and it is causing confusion when there really needs to be none.
9. But the apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time there.
10. It is really in the area of service that we were let down = the staff. (this has not been published for your information only)

Our apartment at Amphora was superb. It was very large, clean, and with just the right touch of luxury. The bathroom was well equipped and we liked the large shower. The spacious balcony was also well utilised.

The facilities were also top notch and everyone around the grounds appeared to be enjoying themselves - adults and kids alike.

The location was perfect for a relaxing break. While we tried a large number of restaurants along the Esplanade, we kept coming back to Vivo.

Great accommodation, spacious, modern and clean, lovely pools. A couple of faults that should have been checked before we arrived though - the washing machine didn't work and we had to use the one in an apartment downstairs for a few days, and the TV had some adult channels tuned in. Would also be useful to have access to mop and/or vacuum cleaner if only serviced weekly. Also fridge was a bit small given there is no large supermarket within an easy walk so while it would be good to stock up every few days, we ended up going to the local (expensive) shop almost daily as the fridge couldn't hold a lot of milk/meat/baby food etc.
However, none of these issues were that big a problem and I would certainly consider Palm Cove and The Amphora for holidays in the future.

Fabulous resort with beautiful pool - the kids spent all their time in it (take sun screen). Room clean and well appointed with everything you would expect in an apartment. Location is great as you don't need a vehicle if you don't want one, walks around Palm Cove and regular buses into the city if needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Amphora Apartments. Who could not enjoy being at Palm Cove?

The apartment itself was not as well equipped as we had expected. For instance, there was no power outlet accessible from the nook where the kettle toaster etc were stored. Making tea involved balancing the kettle precariously alongside the bathroom sink. And we missed not having a microwave oven.
We also think that providing a quarter of a toilet roll for two people for two days betokens extraordinary faith in the guests self control.
The worst feature was the service provided by the local office. They were never open when we went around, they did not answer the telephone, and did not have a voice message service. We did get some help from the receptionist of the apartments although she had no obligation to help us. She lead us to understand that our experience was not atypical.

A most enjoyable stay in a two room apartment overlooking the pool.
We did have some trouble locating our apartment when we arrived, we missed the sign in the carpark directing us to our apartment - we wandered around for some time and carried our bags up, and then down, the wrong stairs. Perhaps relocate some signage to be more conspicuous.

We had no car and relied on buses. Perhaps a bus timetable in the room?
We walked to Clifton Beach to the supermarket and carried our groceries back. Perhaps a shopping trolley or similar available to guests who wish to walk to the Clifton Beach shops. The trolley could have Mantra Amphora advertising on it - that way your guests are doing your advertising for you!

Fantastic as always. Palm Cove is one of the most accommodating spots in the world. Everything is at your doorstep. Our accomodation was clean, modern and spacious. With views over the pool and out to the sea it was just beautiful to finish off a great day on the reef by sitting on the large balcony with a glass of chilled White or a Ice cold beer. The Amphora Apartments in Palm Cove was clean, ideally located on the beach with most amenities. I must say it catered to families with young children who were abundant during our 2 week stay. My only concern was being on the third floor without a lift, being cumbersome on arrival and departure as our luggage was suited for a 30 day holiday. I would have gladly paid for the convenience of a porter on arrival and exit to avoid the stress. However, I appreciate the modest rates for that delightful resort with proximity to the pristine beach. Your website staff were bright, resourceful and pleasant with first hand knowledge of promotional activities.
