Palm Cove is located 30 minutes drive north of Cairns International and Domestic Airport in the beautiful northern beaches district of Cairns and 45 minutes from Port Douglas.

The resort was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. However the two things that could use some improvement are the rock-hard mattresses on the beds and the extremely flat/thin pillows. We lost some rest due to the sleeping conditions but made up for it in the lounge chairs by the pool.

Our apartment at Amphora was superb. It was very large, clean, and with just the right touch of luxury. The bathroom was well equipped and we liked the large shower. The spacious balcony was also well utilised.
The facilities were also top notch and everyone around the grounds appeared to be enjoying themselves - adults and kids alike.
The location was perfect for a relaxing break. While we tried a large number of restaurants along the Esplanade, we kept coming back to Vivo.

Great accommodation, spacious, modern and clean, lovely pools. A couple of faults that should have been checked before we arrived though - the washing machine didn't work and we had to use the one in an apartment downstairs for a few days, and the TV had some adult channels tuned in. Would also be useful to have access to mop and/or vacuum cleaner if only serviced weekly. Also fridge was a bit small given there is no large supermarket within an easy walk so while it would be good to stock up every few days, we ended up going to the local (expensive) shop almost daily as the fridge couldn't hold a lot of milk/meat/baby food etc.
However, none of these issues were that big a problem and I would certainly consider Palm Cove and The Amphora for holidays in the future.
Fabulous resort with beautiful pool - the kids spent all their time in it (take sun screen). Room clean and well appointed with everything you would expect in an apartment. Location is great as you don't need a vehicle if you don't want one, walks around Palm Cove and regular buses into the city if needed.

Fantastic accommodation, one of the first times upon going on holiday the accommodation was better that pictured and expected, just started the holiday off brilliantly, Everything from location, room and weekly room service was great, totally recommended.
Our apartment was clean and beautifully presented. It was very well appointed containing everything we required for our 5 night stay. The beds were comfortable and we had easy access to all the Resort amenities.

Fantastic as always. Palm Cove is one of the most accommodating spots in the world. Everything is at your doorstep. Our accomodation was clean, modern and spacious. With views over the pool and out to the sea it was just beautiful to finish off a great day on the reef by sitting on the large balcony with a glass of chilled White or a Ice cold beer. Cant wait to come back. See you in a few months.

The Amphora Apartments in Palm Cove was clean, ideally located on the beach with most amenities. I must say it catered to families with young children who were abundant during our 2 week stay. My only concern was being on the third floor without a lift, being cumbersome on arrival and departure as our luggage was suited for a 30 day holiday. I would have gladly paid for the convenience of a porter on arrival and exit to avoid the stress. However, I appreciate the modest rates for that delightful resort with proximity to the pristine beach. Your website staff were bright, resourceful and pleasant with first hand knowledge of promotional activities.
