Awesome accomm, very comfortable & beds excellent & pool amazing, grounds very clean & maintained. A couple of suggestions, an outdoor fan under the alfresco would have made it more comfortable, along with furniture to lie back & relax in. Also the pillows were terrible, but everything else perfect.

Our apartment was the type of home we would like to live in permanently. It was magnificent.
Out of ten i would give it a twelve +++++++
We had a fantastic time in Palm Cove and the apartment was perfect.
Ours - and others that we visited - were beautiful and well appointed units . I must commend a consideration shown . I arrived still suffering from debilitating injuries to both my feet and found the prospect of climbing two floors to our booked unit daunting in the extreme - if impossible . Could we wait a couple of hours until a ground floor unit became available after cleaning ? .This was no trouble with the abundance of excellent coffee shops in the area and , being able to walk on flat surfaces . I went on to enjoy our visit to Palm Cove .
A suggestion from this - in consideration that there are elderley and infirm amongst the guests .
Perhaps the availability of a Porter Service ( not necessarily in house but freelance " hulks " on call ). In Europe and Asia the porters are remunerated by the guests and a fix like that provided for me might not always be possible . Lifts would be even better .
We really enjoy our holidays as it was just the perfect location, in the middle of palm cove, literally on the beach
We stayed for 8 nights in Amphora Apartments, the locations and facilities were excellent. We do however, have a few suggestions that would have made the stay a lot more enjoyable.
1. The Airport transfer was great, however it didnt drop our family at the location we were staying. We were dropped off at Boutique Collections, we did the paper work, and then had to get a lift to the accomodation. Having a 2 year old, this was very frustrating. On top of this, a piece of lugagge was lost in the change over of transfers.
A few extra items in the room would be great, such as: plugs for the sinks, foot towels in the bathroom, and the DVD player didnt work.
The lady at the Boutique Collection could not have been more helpful! She was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed the location at Amphora Street. We had a 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the Beach. When the winds picked up in the afternoon we utilised the sheltered lagoon pool. We will go back.

it was great fantastic view. the stairs were a bit hard with me having rhumatoid arthritis but i used it as exercise. the tvs were hard to make work with 3 controls and not many instructions,and the place needs a few minor repairs, but it was still very nice thankyou.

Our apartment was fabulous with beautiful beachfront views - a great way to wake up in the morning. The apartments were clean and had everything we needed - great laundry facilities. Plenty of room for all the family. We were a bit disappointed that the key wasn't there when we arrived or our breakfast basket but both were quickly remedied with a phone call. Also they were very quick to come to adjust the airconditioning, and sent a car to pick up and store our luggage on our last day. We will definitely be back a wonderful stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay. If I'm ultra critical, the apt could of used a more a detailed clean (ceiling fans, matte in pics), but the one complaint that others acknowledged was the hardness of the beds. My Mum and husband were really uncomfortable. Having said all that, we still loved our visit, the location, the pool and apt itself and plan to return in the future to this same location. For the price, you can't beat it.

The resort was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. However the two things that could use some improvement are the rock-hard mattresses on the beds and the extremely flat/thin pillows. We lost some rest due to the sleeping conditions but made up for it in the lounge chairs by the pool.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. No issues there BUT lots of other issues.
1. our reception was poor. The apartment was not ready at the appropriate time and it was over an hour before we were able to have access. We had previously being asked by telephone to notify our intended time of arrival, which we did, so the staff must have known the time of our arrival.
2. the receptionist offered to care for our luggage while we went down the street to "have a cup of coffee". As it was we had enough time for a whole meal and a cup of coffee
3. The receptionist undertook to ring us when the apartment was cleaned and ready. She never did.
4. On our return to the reception office our luggage was left unattended behind an unlocked door readily accessible by the general public. The receptionist was down the street somewhere.
4. We walked on down the street to see if we could find the apartment and, in doing so, we passed the receptionist returning from somewhere eating an ice cream.
5. After ringing the office again the phone was answered by a different receptionist who undertook to drive down to meet us with our luggage. She did that and admitted us to the apartment.
6. The usual general information booklet(s) and pamphlets were not available at that time and we later discovered that they had been left outside the front door.
7. We found this whole procedure to be very sub-standard and demonstrated a lack of care in the reception process.
8. You need to do something about the name of the apartments because the taxi service doesn't know it by the name Amphora Apartments. I think they must know it by its name of Mantra. I don't see the point in having two names one of which seems to be used by the tourist industry and one of which seems to be used by some of the other services which we need. As it was, the taxi service denied the existence of any Amphora Apartments at that address and we missed a taxi that had been ordered an hour earlier. I would recommend eliminating the Mantra name from the apartments as nobody seems to use it and it is causing confusion when there really needs to be none.
9. But the apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time there.
10. It is really in the area of service that we were let down = the staff. (this has not been published for your information only)

Our apartment at Amphora was superb. It was very large, clean, and with just the right touch of luxury. The bathroom was well equipped and we liked the large shower. The spacious balcony was also well utilised.
The facilities were also top notch and everyone around the grounds appeared to be enjoying themselves - adults and kids alike.
The location was perfect for a relaxing break. While we tried a large number of restaurants along the Esplanade, we kept coming back to Vivo.

Great accommodation, spacious, modern and clean, lovely pools. A couple of faults that should have been checked before we arrived though - the washing machine didn't work and we had to use the one in an apartment downstairs for a few days, and the TV had some adult channels tuned in. Would also be useful to have access to mop and/or vacuum cleaner if only serviced weekly. Also fridge was a bit small given there is no large supermarket within an easy walk so while it would be good to stock up every few days, we ended up going to the local (expensive) shop almost daily as the fridge couldn't hold a lot of milk/meat/baby food etc.
However, none of these issues were that big a problem and I would certainly consider Palm Cove and The Amphora for holidays in the future.
Fabulous resort with beautiful pool - the kids spent all their time in it (take sun screen). Room clean and well appointed with everything you would expect in an apartment. Location is great as you don't need a vehicle if you don't want one, walks around Palm Cove and regular buses into the city if needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Amphora Apartments. Who could not enjoy being at Palm Cove?
The apartment itself was not as well equipped as we had expected. For instance, there was no power outlet accessible from the nook where the kettle toaster etc were stored. Making tea involved balancing the kettle precariously alongside the bathroom sink. And we missed not having a microwave oven.
We also think that providing a quarter of a toilet roll for two people for two days betokens extraordinary faith in the guests self control.
The worst feature was the service provided by the local office. They were never open when we went around, they did not answer the telephone, and did not have a voice message service. We did get some help from the receptionist of the apartments although she had no obligation to help us. She lead us to understand that our experience was not atypical.

A most enjoyable stay in a two room apartment overlooking the pool.
We did have some trouble locating our apartment when we arrived, we missed the sign in the carpark directing us to our apartment - we wandered around for some time and carried our bags up, and then down, the wrong stairs. Perhaps relocate some signage to be more conspicuous.

We had no car and relied on buses. Perhaps a bus timetable in the room?
We walked to Clifton Beach to the supermarket and carried our groceries back. Perhaps a shopping trolley or similar available to guests who wish to walk to the Clifton Beach shops. The trolley could have Mantra Amphora advertising on it - that way your guests are doing your advertising for you!

Fantastic as always. Palm Cove is one of the most accommodating spots in the world. Everything is at your doorstep. Our accomodation was clean, modern and spacious. Very nice, the spot was perfect and we totally enjoyed all the facilities that the apartment provided.
The Amphora Apartments in Palm Cove was clean, ideally located on the beach with most amenities. I must say it catered to families with young children who were abundant during our 2 week stay. My only concern was being on the third floor without a lift, being cumbersome on arrival and departure as our luggage was suited for a 30 day holiday. I would have gladly paid for the convenience of a porter on arrival and exit to avoid the stress. However, I appreciate the modest rates for that delightful resort with proximity to the pristine beach. Your website staff were bright, resourceful and pleasant with first hand knowledge of promotional activities.
