Amphora Palms is located on the southern end of Palm Cove Beach close to all restaurants and shops. Amphora Palms is 30 minutes north of Cairns and 45 minutes south of Port Douglas.Amphora Palms Room Descriptions:
Studio ApartmentThe smaller studio apartment can have either a king size bed or 2 singles. It has a spa bath, separate shower, tea and coffee making facilities and a large private terrace. This studio unit is perfect for that short stay or those looking for budget accommodation.
One Bedroom Apartment
Amphora Palms one bedroom apartment has a modern fully equipped kitchen with a separate dining area. This apartment has a terrace overlooking the award winning lagoon. Plantation shutters complete the tropical ambience. There is a king size bed and a stylish bathroom, with bath and a separate shower. The one bedroom resort holiday apartment is perfect for that long stay holiday as you can self cater making your holiday that much cheaper.
In both spaciously laid out apartments there are cool tile floors, ceiling fans and air conditioning to provide relief from the balmy tropical air. In the smartly furnished lounge entertainment area there is a choice of DVDs or T.V.
Two Bedroom Apartments
Amphora Palms two bedroom apartment is a combination of the two units above with the advantage of dual keys for all guests to come and go as you please.
The Amphora Palms overlooks the free form lagoon pool which snakes its way through the beachfront resort complex. There are sun lounges set amongst the Palms and grassed areas. The Amphora Resort boasts a popular onsite restaurant and Day Spa with 6 treatment rooms to thoroughly spoil yourself.
We highly recommend you make a booking for your massages and spa treatments at the time of making your hotel holiday reservations as a lot of guests come to Palm Cove to just relax and luxuriate in our well re-known Day Spa’s.
Across the road is the magnificent beach, the Coral Sea and the green forested Double Island, all framed by the huge paperbark trees, in a picture postcard view.
Palm Cove is a favourite with Cairns locals because of its sidewalk cafes, and prestigious restaurants, all with this million dollar view. From pizza to exotic Thai food to innovative Australian cuisine you will never have to go further than a stroll along your own beach.

We loved our stay at amphora palms, our apartment was fabulous, clean and a great out door setting and lovely to stay on ground floor with private fencing.we could not fault our apartment . The pool was fantastic and especially alot of fun for children and adults. The pool area and out door space was cleaned everyday. The restaurant catered well for children , serving yummy and healthy food, a nice change to always being offered fried food. We would definitely stay there again. Our only quibble was that ,as we rented a private apartment , mantra reception did not have our name on their guest list and so drivers who turned up to meet us for day tours were told that the mantra did not know if we were staying there or not as they do not have the names of the guests in the private apartments.
The facilities at Amphora were great. The pool in particular was a highlight! Good size room for a studio, although next time we would book a room with a kitchenette. We had no spare bin liners and almost ran out of toilet paper, as we stayed a week and had no-one come to check this sort of thing while we there. But these were only minor issues and we are so glad we decided to stay in Palm Cove. A beautiful place with very friendly people, we can't wait to return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wished we had stayed for longer. The unit was stunning both inside and out, the bed very comfortable, the outdoor gardens and pool just fnatastic.
Our stay in Palm Cove was the best holiday we've had. My grandchildren are still talking about it. The accommodation and facilities were excellent - my grandchildren had a great time, and my grandson is looking forward to returning to you again soon.
Accomodation was excellent however feedback for improvement:
1. Front doors could not be locked from the inside - a child could open the door from inside and leave the apartment. We had to prop chairs againts the door so our 4yo could not get out.
2. Curtains in the main living room were transparent at night. Anyone walking past (we were ground level) at night could see into the apartment. It needs a blockout curtain for night use.
