Tour Bookings and Information

Visit the Tour Specialists for professional advice on Tours and Palm Cove Accommodation in the region. The Tour Specialists is located at the bottom of the steps at Paradise Village Shopping Center.

Art Gallery/Jewelery Shops

At the southern end of the beach is a small art gallery showcasing local art and at Paradise Village Shopping Center you will find RAA Gallery. At the northern end of the shopping area you will find wonderful local art with magnificent paintings of Palm Cove at the Village Gallery. An Opal shop can be found at Paradise Village shopping centre in Palm Cove and the Tropical Gem shop is located on Williams Esplanade.

Bottle Shop (Alcohol Store)

Another essential service there are two options in Palm Cove. The first is located at the Palm Cove Tavern at the southern end of Palm Cove on Vievers Road and features a drive-thru service. At the northern end of the village you will find the Palm Surf Club for a small membership fee which is donated to the local surf club you can join the club and purchase take away alcohol.

General Store

There are a handful of general stores throughout Palm Cove that sell vital items such as food, cleaning products etc.

The nearest major shopping centre is at Clifton Beach, a 5 minute drive away.

Palm Cove Medical Centre / Chemist and Pharmacy

The nearest Medical Centre and Pharmacy is located on the corner of Vievers Road and Triton Street in Palm Cove just follow the road round at the southern end of the Esplanade.

• Monday - Friday 08.30am - 5.30pm

The Pharmacy is open

• Monday - Friday 08.30am - 6.00pm,
• Saturday 09.00am - 4.00pm
• Sundays 09.00am - 1.00pm.

There will also be a Palm Cove Dentist opening in the same location at the End of February 2012.

Clothing Shops

Tropical clothing and swimwear can be purchased at many Palm Cove shops.

Beauty Salons

Many resorts in Palm Cove have onsite salons that feature beauty treatments and hairdressing. You will also find a beauty salon and hairdresser in Paradise Village Shopping Center.

Spas

Palm Cove is renowned as being the, “Spa Capital of Australia” so there is no surprise that most resorts in Palm Cove feature world class spas.

Cafés and Pubs

There is no shortage of cafés and pubs at Palm Cove where you can grab a quick bite to eat and a glass of beer — wonderful on a hot day.

Doctor

The nearest doctor is located at the corner of Vievers Road and Triton Street Palm Cove. The Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday 08.30am - 5.30pm. Major medical services, including a hospital, are located in Cairns city.

Car Rental

Visit The Tour Specialists at the bottom of the stairs at Paradise Village Shopping Center to organize you affordable and efficient car rentals.

Public Toilet

A public toilet block is located near the main swimming area of the beach.

Bank

An ATM machine is located at the Palm Cove Tavern. (Southern end of the beach, about 200 metres inland) In the center of the village an ATM can be found inside Aprés Beach Bar. Most shops offer EFTPOS facilities, and all restaurants have credit card machines.

Car Parking

Car parking is available along the full length of the beach. If there are no spaces, check the car park at the far northern end of the beach.
