A very classy restaurant located on absolute beachfront at Palm Cove offering a superb cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant has won awards for dining excellence. The restaurant sometimes sets up dining on the lawn among the palm trees beside the beach. The service is relaxed and friendly and the crowd is a mix of hotel guests from this and other nearby resorts. On Friday and Saturday nights a guitarist plays in the cocktail bar. A wonderful treat.

Nu Nu Restaurant has been described as a ‘culinary nirvana’ in Delicious Magazine and rightly so. Nu Nu Restaurant features contemporary Asian-inspired cuisine with al fresco style dining. Nu Nu Restaurant was named regional restaurant of the year in Australian Gourmet Traveller’s restaurant guide awards in 2007.

The breezy setting is idyllic, regardless of the hour, and so is the menu. Breakfast is a culinary delight with a selection of poached apple and raspberry toasties, lacy pancakes stuffed with ricotta, or just bacon and eggs done how they should be. Lunch is a nice cold Cooper’s Pale Ale, Asahi or indeed Peroni and oysters, salt and pepper squid with lime, spiced beef chilli burger and so much more. The dinner menu doesn’t hold back either. Asia makes its proximity known in the chilled salad of fresh-water crayfish, shiso cress, avocado, toasted sesame and soy, or north Queensland mudcrab cooked in the wok. But it is far from all chopsticks and chilli, as roast rack, crisp brain and marrow of Victorian lamb with green sauce and more.
