The romantic destination of Palm Cove is playing cupid this year by offering a select number of local couples a free wedding vow renewal ceremony on Valentine's Day when they book a Taste of Romance package at a participating Palm Cove properties.

February 14 is a popular day for locals to enjoy the romance of dining at Palm Cove.

With February 14 falling on a weekend this year couples can indulge in a romantic weekend for two to enjoy the ultimate tropical serenity of Palm Cove.

Valentine's Day will be made even more special for a select number of couples who book a "Taste of Romance" package between February 1 and 14 at a participating Palm Cove properties by treating them to a free wedding vow renewal ceremony valued at $500.

Ceremonies will be held throughout the day on February 14 at Angsana Great Barrier Reef Chapel and will be sponsored by South Pacific Bridal with Posh Photography giving each couple a free portrait. Each couple will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine after ceremony and a small gift from participating Palm Cove businesses.

Palm Cove's award-winning accommodation properties, day spas and restaurants will be going out of their way to make sure couples enjoy their Valentine's celebration, reinforcing the beach's reputation for romance.

Couples will be treated to romantic extras such as Valentine's chocolates, sparkling wine, spa vouchers and couples body pamper baskets depending on which package you choose.
